I know. We're all suddenly one year older.

 

Not me ... I've only recently aged one year, so I've still got 11 months run time out of it still to go

Yes but if you deduct your year of birth from the current year, I think you'll find that in the last 50 minutes, you've just added a year on.

Just got back home from sister-in-law's, a bit like walking home through armageddon with all the fireworks going off around here.

@Jack McHammocklashing has been otherwise engaged with Pompey Lil and while she has been otherwise engaged with some Yanks, he resorted to trying to get @CanadianLori and @redstar a little bit tipsy on Mojito's disguised as Spritzers

Meanwhile, @Freddy has been stuffing his face with pork pies and now thinks they are the best thing since sliced bread

Across the table, @Zigs claimed to be under the weather (but we think "weather" is a euphemism for Pompey Lil ... just don't tell Jack!!! )

Then, while @clueless1 's mother has been singing her heart out, he throws in a low baller with his Abacus!

@redstar has turned virtual alcoholic by hitting the juice at teatime (oh, the shame of it: cashing in on the Gin trail all the while pretending she isn't an addict but a polite citizen joining in transatlantic celebrations: nudge, nudge, wink, wink; nods as good as a wink to a blind man. Know wot I mean? Huh? Huh? )

Then there's our @strongylodon refusing, yes refusing to participate because I was late with the asparagus

As for @shiney ... well, I don't think he has the energy left to crawl onto the dance floor without falling asleep - let alone tuck into any cheesy balls or duck rolls (why I wasted my time slaving over a hot stove all day, I will *never* know! )

Then, the likes of @roders preferred the match, the match I say!!!! Dear Lord!

Our Mandy is, as always, mooning over the stars of the day (or night, perhaps?). Either that or he is still in his fancy dress costume (R2D2 stylie)

@wiseowl is busy scoffing his face with Incredible Edible Dormice ...
