Potted up a rhubarb crown "victoria", 3 asparagus "green" crowns and 2 raspberry canes "malling promise".
Only the cat grass has germinated so far (forgot to mention it and cupani sweet peas) 20170115_145119.jpg

Off to sow some of longk's seeds now :)

My plot is always a swampy, clayey mess at the time of year they sell Raspberry canes, so I've always potted them up in ex-Morrisons flower buckets (with addition of drainage holes) and waited until conditions improve before planting.

I have stuck them in pots for the moment like the other ones I got, grounds too hard and I don't really want them to take over my garden anyways.. (have put in for an allotment :fingers crossed: )

Oh, btw they're poundland wonders ;) so we'll see how they do!

Am I the only brave soul sowing then?

Sweet peas have germinated, moved into the front window for now. Onions and leeks have germinated, apart from 3 of each so have put them in the porch.
Me and little one have put another packet of sweet peas (unknown) in to soak and nicked the canna seeds earlier tonight and they are soaking too, potting up tomorrow :)

                        Hi Linz,
I have to confess to sowing Sweet Peas 3 weeks ago after soaking them, the first pic 646 is one pot in a sunny window sill the others are under grow lights. I think I've sown them a little too early as they appear leggy, I have stopped one in each pot.

So far, and going back to before Christmas and onward, I have started Kelsae onions, tomatoes, 6 kinds of hot peppers, catnip, celery, drumstick and marigold seeds. A mishmash but what I was in the mood to start. Today will be pansy seeds because they don't need light to germinate. I need to reorganise my indoor lighted growing area but I need to clean out my friend's condo before getting to any of my own large projects. So I won't be starting my sweet peas for a few weeks.
