Because snow was forecast (and has now arrived), I dragged some pots nearer to the house; added some bubblewrap to a couple of pots containing fuchsias :fingers crossed:
      Other than that ... nada!

Collected 2 water butts and 2 composers for free off a lovely lady from free cycle. 20170116_145634.jpg
Was also given fleece, capillary matting, plant supports, a galvanised watering can and an electric propagator

Was also offered summer and autumn raspberries when she digs them up in March. Well happy!

I'm not in work tomorrow so as the weather forecast is for grey, cloudy, dry and mild weather" I'm going to have a "state of the garden" amble around to get good idea of what is, and what is not happening in the garden. I have some 60 Narcissus bulbs to plant, and 6 Perennial Poppies to plant in two blocks of three once I decide where to put them:scratch::heehee: No doubt there will be a pile of jobs that will need to be done as I do the usual tidying up of the borders and paths. Also a sit by the Wildlife pond with a mug of tea will give me chance to see what jobs need doing there.:coffee::snorky:

Wasn't able to get out into the garden yesterday as we had rain for most of the day so spent time clearing out loft rubbish instead:snorky:
I need to get back out there as we brought a large number of buckets full of leaf mould and compost back from the allotment last week and I managed to get most of the leaf mould/compost spread round the plants in the borders but the last three bucket were far to heavy (compost) for me to carry around the garden with my dodgy knee so me thinks will have to get Mr Kandy to help me.:snorky:

So nice to see the borders looking nice although I am getting a bit fed up of Mr Blackbird throwing leaves all over my lawn as he furrages amongst the leaves looking for worms to eat.I need to get him trained:snorky:

2 sunny days in a row! Made the most of it-cleared out a load of yuk from around the pond and it stank! Cleared out the smaller pond from leaves and excess weeds. Cleared/weeded the borders and dismantled an old shelving unit housing broken plastic pots-all ready to bin. Checked the lotty and tidied up the greenhouse.
