Making mini-landscapes in seven circular troughs. Three out of limestone chunks taken out of a garden and a field. Two out of sandstone flags given to me by a farmer. Two with bog oak bought from the local Farmers' Co-Op. Having difficulty with the second piece of bog oak as it's about five feet high and unwieldy. Will have to collar some unsuspecting passerby to hold it steady at the top while I manoevre stones around it to anchor it. Any of you passing by? :) :)

Sheal, my love, it's another Celtic country where a West Brit resides. County Limerick, Irlanda.

Hi Linz I hope your composers were Edward Elgar and Benjamin Britten and you're not bringing illegal immigrants like Beethoven and Mozart in smuggled in water butts :)

Yesterday planted some Lily of the Valley and had a bit if a tidy up. It was a gorgeous sunny day and 10 deg. ( Still have had only four frosts this Winter and no snow for seven years :). )

Another unexceptional day of sunshine. Cleared more stuff out the garden to the compost heap, emptied cleaned and refilled the hot tub (does that count as gardening as it is in the garden?!:snork:) and sowed some sweet peas that are now in the propogator.

Cleared another half a wheelie bin full of moss from the beds.

Now look here young @shiney, what do you mean by a 'good' Essex girl can take anything!

Yes, I'm tough enough for the Shetland's but my stomach isn't. As you know I won't fly and my sea legs aren't that strong either so the shorter the journey by boat the better. Although the Irish Sea gave me a tough time I think I could make the Orkney's but not the Shetlands. :snorky: Gardening up there would certainly be challenging too.

More unexpected sunshine (not unexceptional?! As per autocorrect lol) 10 bags of manure spread across the beds and that is it....too cold!
