    Good day everyone
I have no idea what it's like outside. It's pitch and this witch isn't going to stick her nose out to feel the conditions! :)

I very much enjoyed the movie yesterday. First time in ages that I've forced myself to just sit and sip and watch. Very nice. Then I went to my friends to clear the rest of the bookshelves so I'm all set for the junk removal dudes to do their job today.

There is a stereo system there that I should disassemble but the number of heavy wires frightens me. Hmmm, shouldn't be scared because the voltage is only half of what it is on the oven I was playing with.. :heehee:

I need to go and pay for medical expenses for my friend. Luckily the establishment, though it is several miles away, is right in the path of some suppliers I need to visit tomorrow as well. Very fortunate indeed

@"M" very sad to hear about your car problems. So frustrating. We have 4 vehicles and one time because of various repairs or son's borrowings, I had to resort to driving my friend's cadillac. Just goes to show, it doesn't matter how many vehicles you have.... I hope they find the problem quickly and it is not an expensive one.

    Have a safe day everyone!

          Aloha everyone,

I'm going to take it leisurely today as there's no room left in the wheelie bins :heehee:. They get emptied tomorrow morning.

got some things to sort out for Barry and also need to have a word with my credit card company (no problems but I just want to clear up a few rules). Have to read the meters and send the numbers to them on line. They've told me off for not doing it yet! :nonofinger:  :dunno:

          Bridge club this afternoon.

Keep well and have a great day

          aloha!

            Good day everyone
@shiney I just submitted the readings from our natural gas meter. Even though I always give them the correct figure and been doing so for the past 5 years, they still come by to verify my readings. Sooo last month I thought I'd be a stinker and lock the gate. Now they have to take my word for it. :)

Got 7 different places to visit today across the north end of Toronto. One for my business, the rest for my friend's estate. I figure two more weeks or so and I shall be back to my "normal" schedule.

            Have a safe day everyone!

              Gooooooood evening fellow WW'ers :spinning:

Much better thrown in than up ;) I'm partial to a bit of mackerel - I like the peppered one that you can buy on the deli counter :delish:

Thank you, Lori, yes it really is. It is still at the car Dr's  They think they have found the issue but want to keep it over night so they can start it from cold first thing in the morning :fingers crossed:

:lunapic 130165696578242 5: That is so funny!!!! :lunapic 130165696578242 5: I *think* things like that, but I haven't developed the balls to actually carry the thoughts through :heehee: Good on you!

Well, not much of any interest happening in the world of "M" today. #1 son was on rest day so he took up position in the sitting room to play on his console - he calls it "relaxing" :shhhh: :heehee:
I took Ozzy for a later than usual walk today and it was absolutely lovely! Mild, sun shining and the frost was thawing! :yahoo: No wait ... ... not so good ... I thoroughly scrubbed the kitchen floor to within an inch of its life yesterday and after the walk ... *who* left muddy paw prints all over that previously shiney floor? :waggy: :doggieshmooze: The floor had to make do with a quick flick instead of a loving attention to detail posh wash!

I had planned on doing some sewing today, but was thwarted because I cannot find the packet of new needles I bought since I reshuffled the office/craft room a couple of weeks ago :dunno: So that gave me a good excuse to catch up on some reading (hopefully this time I'll finish the book club book earlier than the night before our meeting  :heehee: )

Miles of smiles and positive vibes for all
              xxMxx

                          Good day everyone
I slept in late as I had been awake in the night with a sore back. Got one more heavy item to move today and then I'm down to small items and books that I can divvy up into smaller loads.

I brought my friend's ashes back from the funeral home yesterday. He is sitting on my mantle. :)

Have a safe day everyone :)

Had a banner day today :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :-

~ collected car from Garage (all working!) and was only charged for the part (no VAT and no labour!!! )
~ duly drove off to keep a Dentist appointment, only to be told ... no payment, my account is in credit (who knew?)
~ did some retail therapy because I was feeing so happy, hit the sale rail and saved £100+ (only spending £30) "Do the Scrungee: do-do-do-de-doo-deedee-doop-doop ... kerching!" :dancy:

~ arrived home to an email from #2 son's driving school to say they are now going to refund all of his money  :hapydancsmil: :yahoo: :phew: Hated having to resort to "helicopter parent" mode, but, when he tried contacting them it was a whole different story :nonofinger:

So, a most "rewarding" day all around, I think :Wino:

Ow, ow, owie!!! Take it steady today! :grphg:
