Trump, I Was Being Sarcastic. He He He!!!

Several of the Republican Senators are washing their hands of that particular Executive Order by Trump. The general opinion is that some parts of the EO will be declared unconstitutional and illegal by the Courts while some will stand.

I agree with that, pete. Having dual passports is non committal and, to me, you should acknowledge only being the subject of one nation not two or more.

So, I'll repeat what I wrote.

Let me point out that Redstar is not responsible for US politics or for the Executive Orders issued by Trump, even if she agrees with them. But we seem to zoning in on our American friends with emotional and negative opinions. That can only result in members becoming offended, upset, irritated or worse.........and that is not fair.
I therefore propose that we change the present line of discussion to one that is more reasoned, less narrow, better spirited discussion. I do not wish to close this thread in the interests of free speech but I value the respect that all members deserve and should be given and therefore let's be less emotional and more respectful.

 

My point was, Anthony, not that you were accusing Redstar of anything, but that the trend of the thread was to become emotional,. expressing negative opinions, and directing them at our US friends and members.

 

I was pointing out that the trend was putting pressure on certain members and I think that is unfair, Anthony. I'm sorry you don't recognise that but as I have pointed out before freedom of speech is a double edged sword that has to have respect on both sides.
