Got to work, felt I'll. Got very rapidly worse.

Phoned doctors, got told to do a sample. Was very ill by the time I arrived. I bounced off the walls, no balance or coordination. Receptionist told me to sit down while she gets someone. So begins about an hour of me being tested and looked after, nearly passed out a couple of times but still here.

I wasn't allowed to leave unless someone came for me. Luckily my dad was already in the area, and wife managed to get hold of him to tell him what had happened.

Got very powerful medication now. Seems to be helping but I'm exhausted. I have to go back yet to collect my car now the dizziness has subsided. I had to leave it there because I was clearly unfit to drive at the time.

:grphg: Healing vibes winging their way to you!! Sounds dreadful!

Leave the car until you're off the meds (or get someone else to collect it).

The meds don't prohibit me from driving. One is a powerful antibiotic, and another is to stop me going dizzy. I wouldn't chance it if I thought there was any risk above and beyond the normal inherent risk of driving. It's only a 5 minutes drive anyway.

Yesterday was the 2nd anniversary of my nan passing. Since I passed my test about 9 years ago, we used to go food shopping every week and she would drag me around every shop in our town and get a KFC on the way home.. so I done that without her yesterday. Was bloody rough. For the first 8 months after she passed I would get home delivery.. it's sounds silly but it's been so hard to do a food shop since she passed. Just not the same without her, she'd moan about everything, start arguments with people.. well intentioned and so funny. Miss her everyday. Off up the cemetery later to have a good chat and cry with her.

                            Sorry to hear @redstar :grphg:

I've been up, gave her a bunch of daffodils and the one that was flowering in my garden, hope she likes them, well I know she will they're her fav flowers. My uncle is buried with her so had a lil chat with him too. I was young when he passed so don't remember much. Took out a daff for my other grandparents and laid that on their grave too. Asked for some guidance with the plot, they were massive gardeners and loved growing veg

Anyways, best crack on with some housework! My nan would be shouting at me if saw the state of my kitchen! :heehee:

With you on that, Linz. I go every day to the Church where my Wife is no matter what time it has to be, and do exactly as you do.. She always has fresh flowers no matter whether it's snowing, raining, freezing cold. Time heals they say, but I haven't found that to be true.:dunno:
