Because he flips easily and uses to the shovel to flop people who irritate him.:dunno::snorky:

Well, if he wears a black suit, wears shades, an earpiece, speaks into the cuff of his sleeve while he's digging, then he might be telling the truth, Linz:dunno::heehee:

Was at home after the RHS show yesterday.
The Proteas were taken out of the pots (he wanted to charge me £5/pot for some fancy air pot, which I declined), so I potted them up again, watered and puy in the greenhouse.

Also did a bit of tidying up in the garden.
There is a pest of an ivy coming over from my neighbour which self seeds profusely. Pulled out as many of the seedlings as I could see.
And a few other weeds that had come up.

As my garden is still under several inches of snow, all I have been able to do is start giving the various pieces of garden machinery their annual service.

I planted the 8 Fritillaria Imperialis in three clumps after changing my original thoughts of where I was going to plant them. I planted them 18 inches deep and on their side as I normally do. Then I planted the 3 Diemara towards the center of the walk around border, all the Snakeshead Fritillarias, potted up 12 Echinacea's, rescued an old perrennial Poppy at the bottom of the garden and potted it on to see how it develops. I still have 10 Gladiola Alba, a Dicentra Alba to plant. My second order of 3 Eremurus Robustus hasn't arrived as yet, but I'm pretty sure it will arrive tomorrow, so I've held back from planting the 3 Eremurus bungei today so that I can plant them all together.:snorky:

Ah I want to mow my lawn.. my neighbours will think I'm mad though.

Moved my rubbish bin in and changed the water and food in the chickens run. Feel lazy. Kids are off school and they're preoccupied with gadgets... uhhh! To be fair, it's pretty cold and wet out.

Had the day off today, so I set about changing the soil in the greenhouse. It's quite a task as my wheelbarrow doesn't quite fit through the greenhouse door, so I have to use a couple of large plastic trugs to hump the soil in and out.

It's amazing how many roots from nearby trees and shrubs seen to find their way into the greenhouse every year. Mrs Trunky was given the job of shaking out the roots from the removed soil and disposing of them, then she helped me hump the replacement soil from the veg patch into the greenhouse.

Between the two of us, by utilizing two plastic trugs, a large 20lt plant pot, a wheelbarrow and a sack barrow we eventually got the job done.

                            Both knackered now. :phew:

@Trunky now I know that I am a lazy greenhouse gardener. I do container gardening in them so no roots get in my pots.:heehee:

I worked this morning but I did take a break to do a little laundry and also to look in one of the boxes to see what my new louvres are like. Quite nifty.

Like @redstar we are expecting temperatures to go up into the high 40's and 50'sF under sunny skies this weekend. I'm trying to make sure that I get time to go outside and start moving watering and electrical lines around and also move the small greenhouse before it's twin arrives at my pick up place in Niagara Falls, NY. :)
