I think he should crawl back under his (very expensive) rock, and never show his face in public again.
00000000000000000000000000001348We should set up a campaign to have Blair, and his master, Bush junior, subpoenad for crimes against humanity.lol
Well, I think that the anti-Brexit people must be really dismayed that some one like Tony Blair has put on his Evangelist Robes to become the Leader of the Rising as he's the last one they want on their side. Even though he has been away from political power since 2007 his egomania makes him still think he has the standing of the very early days of being Prime Minister. He's also renown for cashing in on his one time political status by making a fortune for charging for every interview or occasion in the Public or Media. There's a joke in America that he rang Obama on his first term as President of the USA to offer the "benefit" of his political experience. Obama was understandably very reluctant to take the call and it was only after about the 20th call that he took it and spoke with Blair. Obama suffered the godlike call and advice and, on saying goodbye as quickly as he could, Blair managed to squeeze in the last word with "My Agents will send you my Bill!!"
The thing I'm struggling to understand in teflon tony's argument is? If we were not told the facts at the time referendum why was the Remain bunch only saying it "was a leap in the dark", that is the only basis I can remember hearing from them. So what has changed? Suddenly Tony knows all the answers and he didn't tell us at the time Until Article 50 is invoked, and negotiations begin even super man Tony Blair doesn't know how things might turn out. He is scum and should be treated as such
Totally agree Pete, the man is a self serving, money grubbing, egotistical pillock who should be in The Hague waiting to go on trial.
Wasn't there some stuff in the long overdue chillcot report that almost, but not quite, admitted that Tony Bliar had broken the law in misleading everyone into starting the latest Iraq war? I remember something briefly being reported at the time but then it all went quiet.
Exactly. The Attorney General told the enquiry he had advised Blair that any attack on Iraq would be illegal. Then, of course, there is the alleged "suicide" of Dr Kelly, the governments chief weapons inspector who had, supposedly, told Blair and Bush that they fond NO WMD on Iraq.
Well, that's he thought in the past and also did..........so no change there That's not what Tony thinks as only he has a special phone to the Big Man upstairs You and roders just can't stop sitting on the fence
That's not what Tony thinks as only he has a special phone to the Big Man upstairs We have no hope now then as he is Pope.
Let's face it, Jack. The man is so full of himself that his reasoning is shot, his ego is on the manic level and he still believes he has some standing in the UK........so, quite honestly, I feel sorry for the man and that the Media is making him look a fool. I don't think in his advanced egomaniac state that anyone could persuade him that he isn't a person who has the Word of the Lord and that his wisdom is not from Heaven and we are duty bound to take note of his preaching.
Actually, clueless, that is not quite accurate. The Treason Act 1351 still stands and differentiates between the two varieties of Treason. The first is High Treason and the the second is Petty Treason. There have been amendments to the Treason Act in 1495, 1695, 1702, 1708, 1814, and the Treason Felony Act 1848. So there is still an effective Treason Act in the UK of which the penalty is Life Imprisonment .
