And so you should be, SM.

:hate-shocked:.....they've obviously no idea of the great satisfaction that growing stuff in a Green House gives people.:dunno:

      Very nice :)

I didn't finish getting mine together yesterday as it took me until nearly 11a.m. to get the wiring sorted. I hope mine looks as good as yours when I'm done :)

Aw thank you Lori, I have to wash the stone dust off the foundation blocks that the greenhouse is sitting on, it looks untidy with the dust on the red blocks

You're right to be pleased with yourself. :) I think with a greenhouse more so than a shed etc. it has to be done properly first time. If something is out of 'true' then it causes problems later in the build and as you've discovered they are not easy to put together.

Now we'll all wait on the pictures of what you'll be filling it with, good luck! :)

You should see what my needle nose pliers look like after I decided to do something to the stove - without flipping the breaker - they are kinda melted :rolleyespink:

Back at the wiring today. The greenhouse is mostly together, just a few finishing touches.. and then in goes the water distribution lines and lights and ...

I still have the scars in my left hand where, in Aden, I picked up a male/female socket which broke in my hand. Since it was DC it made my hand clench and the shape of the socket was burnt into my hand to the bone. I was an Air Radar Fitter at the time, but because they were short of any sort of electricians I would be called in to sort out any electrical problems as well as those on aircraft. Nobody would admit to dropping the socket onto the concrete floor for some reason:dunno::heehee:

I have to admit that my pliers were the victim of my arrogance and stupidity.

Been playing with light weight dc today.

You must have an interesting scar....show and tell?

Never photographed it, Lori. But you can see the white shape of the socket in the top of my palm and on the inside of my little finger, and the finger next to it, clearly even if the incident happened 50 years ago . I was very lucky in that for some reason the current was going down the left side of my body and I was able to wrench the broken sockets out of my left hand with my right. I was servicing teleprinter machines at the time and was actually screaming in pain but nobody could hear me because of the chattering of the machines. My hand was actually smoking, I kid you not, and it seemed like ages before I got the attention of somebody!! Not a nice memory, but one that was always in the back of my mind when working on anything while in the rif raf and other jobs. I'm still a qualified electrician as well as a Radar Technician, although the latter has moved on somewhat in the modular context and have the greatest respect for electricity as you can't see it, taste it, hear it, but you can feel it if you get "bitten" by it.:love30::snorky:

I cannot imagine the stress of working with electrical power. Hugs to you.

I thought I'd given up learning by error way back in my 50's.... guess I'm not getting mentally older just keeping my feeling of youth through reckless abandon. Next I'll be throwing back shooters and arm wrestling..put your fiver on me :heehee:
