To be fair the Peer says:

He is not elected, he has no responsibility to anyone and he gets 15 letters a day, Presumably it must take him about 2 minutes in case someone has been daft enough to send him a cheque then walk over and dump the remainder in the bin.

Oh and how the other half live, not a shred of guilt and when they do attend the House of Lords some use the facility to sleep. How can anyone justify £300 per day when carers are working 40-50 hours per week for less…………..

The Lords have now rejected/amended a simple bill providing the authority to trigger brexit - it's time they went.

They've shot themselves in the foot and although they think themselves as supreme beings, they can be brought to earth with an almighty thud, which is a very long time overdue.

Totally agree Mowerman. How those pompous, pampered prats can hamper a democratically made decicision is beyond me. It`s about time they realised who PAYS those exorbitant fees they claim.

Why, the peasants and the serfs of course. But who cares about them? Any dissent is easily rectified by giving them a jolly good thrashing.

I think they could be in for a shock, especially as, worldwide, the "lunatics" seem to be taking over the asylums.lol

The 'Lords' now want a 'meaningful vote' on the outcome of the Brexit negotiations.

Someone should sit them down and tell them that we only have 2 years to conclude negotiations - if they start faffing about and we can't reach agreement before the 2 years is concluded - we will default to the WTO rules and everyone loses.
