Yesterday it was fried herring roe and baked potato.

I do know how to live it up.

 

There is no best brown sauce! Yuk! :P

I do like fish fingers, chips and red sauce mind. Heinz all the way!

 

Love herring roe " title="WantLick " /> but I like mine on toast with a good splash of vinegar.

As for fishfingers, there is only *one* way to eat those: in a butty!

Maybe you've heard it called "milts"?

 

Years ago, when it was properly cheap, people would use it along with a small portion of white fish in a the filling of a fish pie; personally I think that is a waste of good herring roe

 

Unless they are rollmops
