Last week it was so hot I nearly took me clothes off! :yikes: Common sense prevailed - the neighbours are most grateful :phew:

Run you may well do, my friend ... thankfully the neighbours didn't ... just think of the housing crash if they had! Which begs the question ...

... what would have happened, to the economy, if you had taken *your* clothes off ;) :loll:

[IMG]See @ARMANDII has been busy in my absence. I approve of his offering apart from the pink hair the rest is quite accurate:). Stiff as a board as have been digging up plants as tho it was going out of fashion all day. Sold another £300 of plants today and you'd still hardly see where I have taken them from as even I had sort of forgotten just how many plants I have. Mind you I have been collecting for getting on for over 30 years. All the people who have been to buy have been really nice except 1 flaming know it all who didn't! I rattled off machine gun fire of Latin names at her and that put her gas at a peep. I strongly object to people telling me what MY plants are. However, I kept my cool, smiled sweetly and sold her a load of plants which I wasn't that keen on anyway and didn't even show her some of my choice ones:snorky: I've just found this photo of 1 of my herbaceous borders, I'd forgotten just how full they are!

Thank you @Snorky85. the slight snag I have doing what I'm doing is that people don't have a huge amount of imagination.Unless the plant is in full growth they don't seem to "get it"! Of course if the plant is in full bloom then you'd be pushed for it to survive being dug up!
Every flaming person has wanted my Eyrithonium Dens Canis and Trillium grandeflorum which are in full bloom atm. I have given a few of the Eyrthoniums to those folk who were nice (not sure they will like being moved atm?) but afraid i did not give anybody any of my Trilliums! Thankfully nobody is appearing today because it is.......snowing:yikes: and I'm creased from yesterday. Only the 2nd snow we have had all winter. It's not lying but hellish cold. Have someone coming to buy a huge amount tomorrow so the snow had better not lie or I'll be in trouble trying to find the plants he wants!

Bonkers, you in Norfolk and me in Scotland. We have had it very mild for us this winter until TODAY:yikes:, it's baltic out there and been snowing. My Erythroniums have been up and flowering for at least 2 weeks. Yellow ones are showng but not quite flowering yet.
Re Trilliums If you wanted to be patient and wait for flowering I could try and see if i can find some small seedlings dotted about. I have had more success from the self seeded ones than sowing seed myself. You can buy rhizomes (could be a bit dodgy to take as they don't move well) from the likes of Crocus for £5.99 or Burncoose for £7.50 EACH! 1 isn't exactly going to give much of an effect!
If you want me to try and find some let me know but you will have a long wait for flowers.

We've had reasonable weather here for the past two days, so I took the opportunity to reshape and therefore increase the size of two borders. Just as soon as time allows, I'll be creating three new ones. Then comes the fun part, planting! :hapfeet:
