Nope, not until someone out there that keeps coming out with this junk starts to confront the problem rather than the symptom.;)

I've already started - I switched the headlights off on the car when I got home and they will stay off for the rest of the night.

I also gave up mushrooms and marmite for lent.

I missed out on a £100 30 minute phone survey on that earlier, ticked the wrong box

It's all bollows anyway, had the arguement with a brainwashed greenpeace bloke, asked him how he reckoned co2 was a problem when its now at it's lowest atmospheric level since the coal was laid down in the Carboniferous period?

He tried to tell me it was the rate it was increasing and not the amount

It's 380 parts per million at the moment, it would have to increase 10 fold to get back to carboniferous levels :dunno:

I wish everyone would do that, permanently, as it would get rid of Light Pollution and we would be able to see the uncountable Billions of Stars in our skies

It wasn't dark so I didn't have them on yet.

                      I conserve every day. If I didn't, I'd be broke ...

I've already helped save things as I won't have a smart meter. How much energy does it use to make one and how much greenhouse gases are saved by there being one less?

I, also, I haven't bought clothes for 20 years and we're on our second lot of lounge furniture in 50 years. I've saved the planet!!! :hapydancsmil:

Alright, so, my executive jet does create some greenhouse gases but I can't give up everything.

We still haven't put our heating on, apart from on low level in the bathroom for about 12 weeks and our daughter's bedroom when home from uni for around 4 weeks. The total heating cost from Autumn 2016 to & including April 2017 will be a little over £100 which includes (reduced) firelighters, jigsaw blades for cutting up pallets, petrol, 4 stroke, chainsaw oil and, when it's been sub-zero, some buy 2 get 1 free bags of coal from Wickes bought using 20% off vouchers.

EDIT: Dammit, forgot about cost of the sweep :frown:

The way I see things, ever time a gardener plants something new, that does a lot more for the planet than switching off lights for an hour.
