Yawn,yawn, wakey, wakey 2017

We've been getting a lot done in the garden but I'm having to be careful with my knees. Too much bending and weeding has made them a bit painful - but my back is OK.

I've ploughed through Barry's paperwork. Checked that they have given him his Council Tax rebate, got his Disability Living Allowance correct, got the right level of Mobility Allowance, got the correct Employment and Support Allowance (don't know why they lump those together but he gets the ESA Support Related Allowance and the ESA Transitional Addition ) and am now working on his Housing Benefit.

Everything is OK apart from the Housing Benefit where they have under-calculated his savings. This is based on last year's figures where I supplied them with a copy of the statement from his Building Society. They've itemised these and got them wrong . I shall be taking them this year's statement and have now put the figures in a separate letter as well - and spoken to the head of Benefits. They have the peculiar system of calculating that he receives 'Income' from any savings over £6,000 (government rules) but calculate that 'Income' at approx. 25% interest rate . What a stupid idea!

According to my calculations it still won't affect his Benefit because it would still keep him below the income level for not losing any Benefit but if they found out he had more savings than they have stated on their letter he could be liable to investigation.

Top of the morning all my friends on this Bonus of a Spring day aint the weather been lovely 21c promised for to day and at the weekend,I think we should meet up later at the Admin office and do some exercises nothing to strenuous anyway I digress, have we all got that Positive Mental Attitude and that incorrigible bouncability all together now have a great day and enjoy

It's another dry sunny day (can see that the sun will be coming up over the horizon soon) and it's time to get the long hose out and set up the sprinkler.

That's good . So we'll be able to recognise you when you come over.

When I got home late last night Sarafi plonked himself down in the middle of the driveway and wouldn't let me drive in properly! I had to get out of the car, pick him up and move him. I noticed that in the headlights his left eye reflected red and his right eye reflected gold.

Yes, it's certainly good to her the dawn chorus and the birds seem to have been extremely chipper this last week.

I got a lot done outside yesterday . A lot of pressure hosing of benches, statues and part of the summerhouse. I now just have to work at how to access both gable ends to do those - and check with nice neighbour whether he wants to use his patio area as the spray will almost certainly drift over that way.

I've now posted this year's invite to our Open Garden and FC said he will add our publicity poster to the invite when he finds time. Thanks very much @fat controller
