        The second one was very dry when it arrived so I soaked it in the bath overnight, wifes not happy :snork:

            so today i was going to have a rest, but it didn't work out like that.. Popped in the garden to get some top soil but ended up with these

                  @bigbore How is your tree fern doing, any growth yet? I'm impatient, I can feel some nice fronds ready to come out, but no signs yet :-(

                  Not really a gardening picture but one of thefamily enjoying parts of the garden, its also nice to rest after such a long day

                          I have an irrigation system setup, it's one of the drippers. I have a main supply pipe that runs round the edge of the garden so I just tap into it where needed.

                            cold front tonight lows of -2 around Leicestershire

                            so thought better to be safe than sorry and wrapped the tree fern, bananas and tetrapanix

                              The right thing to do, Bigbore. I ignored the warning of frost a few weeks ago and my Foxtail Lilies got "singed" a little bit but not fatally.:snorky:
