      @ARMANDII :snork: no it's all self inflicted. I actually jet washed my feet once forgetting how powerful it was....it was quite sore!

        My bamboo could be on the way out, without the neighbours help, as I noticed it is flowering like mad. I had one neighbour who I was convinced washed her patio down with Paraquat every spring.

          One of Roger's work colleagues washed a muddy truck off with a pressure washer set at 250 degrees and then decided to wash his boots off.:yikes: It disintegrated the leather and scalded his feet so badly he had to be taken to hospital:hate-shocked:.

                Has that asparagus produced edible stalks yet? It seems a bit on the thin side. Did you buy it from a supplier?

                I've, finally, given up on pressure washing the patio as it was getting too much for me. Doing 2,000sq ft three times a year was taking too much time and it still wasn't getting clean enough. I was recommended to use a non-toxic liquid product on it and it's really beginning to work well. I saw the result on a relative's patio. It can take some months to really take effect properly and is not cheap. It's called Wet and Forget. :blue thumb:

                I've got one of each, nicknamed Nice Neighbour and Nasty Neighbour :snork:. Nasty won't even let me have anything growing on 'his' fence and I had to have a solicitor's letter sent to him stopping him from cutting our plants. Nice allows us to do anything, encourages us to grow things on the fence (he gets the benefit of the lovely show of flowers where the plants grow through) and moved his fence 18" further into his garden to accommodate the building of our summerhouse. I then rendered the wall of the summerhouse that faces him in the same manner as his house and I painted it the same colour as his house.

                  Good to know that @shiney I was wondering if there was something better. Tou can see in my pics there's some black spotty licheny thingy on some of the stones that just do not come off. I'll give that a try and see what happens.

                  I did the front of the house earlier in the year and the courtyard and around the hot tub yesterday-I didn't realise how exhausting it is!

                            It's in its first year @shiney :) just potted it up to spare it from drying out..moving it up the plot tomorrow :)

                            Nothing in my garden.. I can't bare the noise or sights. Went up the plot and sorted the bit polytunnel out, I moved side seems like so much more room. Watered everything and put 3 types of peas in. Dug a bit over :)

                              Discovered there is a problem with the septic tank soakaway. :gaah:. Spent 6 hours yesterday cutting back the overgrowth and digging out black, foul smelling sludge. Found a dead rat:sad:. Hoping that with enough time and a bit of effort the problem can be resolved. Worse case scenario might involve a new soakaway and maybe new septic tank, which would be hugely expensive.

                              Anyone on here got a septic tank and if so have you had problems with it?.
