Pal the Vale looks magical in the misty morn there... Sites like that make one feel glad to be alive I think.. You were very lucky with that piece of stonework Pal.. You will have had your hard hat on I know, but it would have been one almighty headache... Thank goodness it missed you...
Hard hat or not Marley,if that had connected I'd have been a goner Anyway,This is how I spent Saturday and Monday..16 hours to deglaze the roof panes,scrounge:WINK1: & cut 6 new panes ,restain the rafters and reglaze using mastic bedding and cap....And my word was it bloomin hot! Nice tan now though:D
Lovely greenhouse Pal and love the Montana Clematis running along the edge as well.Glad to hear you are ok though after that piece nearly hit you
And today I rehung a lantern I have refurbished in a beautiful little Church in Stanway which stands next to the Manor at the foot of the Cotswold hills
I've been replaceing the single glass to double glazing in this window at a local Grange. Which requires the rebates to be routed lower, which the chippies did for me . The flat roof I'm on is covered with this.
I met the designer of this garden today....a well known one at that! I thought it best not to ask for an autograph while his client was there...but a clue to his identity is that he always wears a wide brimmed hat
