    :thud: You were very lucky with that piece of stonework Pal.. :phew: You will have had your hard hat on I know, but it would have been one almighty headache... Thank goodness it missed you... :shocked:

    Hard hat or not Marley,if that had connected I'd have been a goner:thud:

    Anyway,This is how I spent Saturday and Monday..16 hours to deglaze the roof panes,scrounge:WINK1: & cut 6 new panes ,restain the rafters and reglaze using mastic bedding and cap....And my word was it bloomin hot!:sunny::sunny: Nice tan now though:D

      And today I rehung a lantern I have refurbished in a beautiful little Church in Stanway which stands next to the Manor at the foot of the Cotswold hills

        I've been replaceing the single glass to double glazing in this window at a local Grange.

        Which requires the rebates to be routed lower,which the chippies did for me

        The flat roof I'm on is covered with this.

          I met the designer of this garden today....a well known one at that!
