So I went to a local nursery today and while browsing, as you do, I spotted a plant that was mislabeled. I didn't want to be a smart ar$e and tell the owner, but now I regret it.
I have been on the wrong end of this numerous times and I'm sure it's not deliberate, but do I tell them when I go back?

I wish you would. I don't know how many times I've ended up with surprises because somebody has been playing checkers with the labels!

I would! Some nurseries give a guarantee with their plants but by the time something flowers/fruits it's often too late to reclaim the error.....The classic example was waiting for a wisteria to flower for seven years. When it did it was pink and not purple. A neighbour had exactly the same experience. Obviously a whole batch of mislabelled plants. It's damned annoying when you're trying to bring together a colour scheme!

LOL your so sweet to ask.

last summer over at Home Depo, like your Tesco (perhaps) they had a display of Marigolds, and a big huge sign in front of it reading---Impatients $$$$. I took the picture of it. showed the clerk, told her is going on my facebook.

I think there may be two different kinds of miss labelling.
The one where the customers have shuffled the label around, that is the easy one to report.

The other is where the actual nursery has misnamed something, not so easy to approach, but a conversation with one of the staff usually sorts it out.

I can be very diplomatic at times:biggrin:
