    Is anyone who is studying the RHS course getting their exam results tomorrow?

    I am and I think I flunked it!

    I had that horrible feeling when I walked out the exam thinking.. "oh dear!"

    I even counted up my marks at the end in a logical way, and I didn't pass.

    It's ok I'll resit... I wish luck to all those getting their results though (if there are any)

      If you've failed it, Stephen, you've failed it....this time. Go for it again with the advantage that you now know what you're in for.

      When I joined the rif raf I have barely any qualifications. A Flight Lieutenant in the Education branch took me under his wing and while struggling to fit lessons, at the age of just over 17 years, in while being on a operational squadron that was detached abroad every 3 months or so. I took my GCE O levels in Maths, Science "A" and "B", English, Geography, History and passed. But 18 months later when turning up to sit my "A" levels for the first three I opened the papers for Maths and saw I had no chance of passing it due to the fact of always working and being detached overseas and not getting the chance of study intensively enough. I felt a fool at having to put my hand up and tell the Officer in front of the class that I couldn't even attempt to take the exam, and then have to walk out in front of all those people:doh:.
      I took the exam nearly 2 years later and passed but it was a real grind.

      Take it again, Stephen.:thumbsup::snorky:

        indeed :) Of course I shall resit.. I'd prefer not to of course, as I love horticulture, it will be a little bruise to my ego.. but I did study hard for it. I will try again though, I have two exams in June too.

        Glad you passed yours eventually!

                  Never taken many exams in my life only the City a Guilds kind of stuff when I was young, but always found if I thought I had done well, then usually I hadn't, and if I thought I had struggled I usually did better than expected.

                  Congratulations @stephenprudence, you'll be on TV before long.:)

                  Oh, I failed the 11 plus miserably.:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

                    I don't think in those days, pete, the schools ever really put us on the path of taking the 11plus or for taking any exams, we were more thought of as Factory Fodder.:dunno::snorky:
