Being that T. May seems a likeable and efficient lady, I haven't seen much action in the past 9 months.

I was involved in a situation, in 1967, in which a decision was requested from Michael Foot and he gave, in the opinion of the person making the request [and mine], the wrong opinion. So I was ordered to delay any messages between the MOD and Micheal Foot to the person who was my superior until the action that was needed to be done had been done and couldn't be stopped. It was an interesting time for the next few days........and his "wrong" decision only reinforced my intense dislike for Michael Foot.:coffee::snorky:

Well, at least she has given the British people an opportunity to rectify that, unlike Gordon Brown.
However, the main point is in this country we elect a party, not a person. The British pubic voted and the result was for a Conservative *party* to lead parliament. Once Cameron resigned, the party had to choose who they wanted as their *party* leader. That's how our system works.
:heehee: Just my opinion, but, I get the impression that is the very *last* thing she wants to think of herself as ... nor (in my opinion) do I think she will enjoy anyone else thinking of her that way! :heehee:

I tend to think at a time like this we need a strong PM, not a wishy washy one, and the only option is May, the rest are just total lightweights.

I'm sure Churchill would have said of the triggering of article 50 , "not the beginning, or the end, but it might be the beginning of the end".

Nobody liked Churchill till we had our backs against the wall, and then when it was all over he was dropped like a hot brick.

The public are a strange bunch.

Ha ha yes you are right shiney, actually she seems to be doing ok..

@"M" I think we will have to agree to disagree on May then.. ;)

The rest of them are so lethargic and full of odd ideas I think politically and so wishy washy..! There is no real choice to make I think, thats why she called the election, she has no opposition.!
