Autumn onion set with flower stalk?

    4 to 6 inches apart, foot between the rows Snork :)

    Did I say I once grew 5,000 of them? Supplied all the local pubs and veg shops :)

      Ah-don't even think that miniature raised bed is big enough by the sounds of it. Managed to get over to my lotty again today and noticed more onions bolting! Grr

      What garlic did u grow? Thinking of doing some elephant garlic next season instead.

          @Zigs is there any point in continuing with these? Theyve been in since october. The rust has become unmanageable. Humph.

          They'll be droppin soon Snork, accidentally dug some up yesterday, they were in with the leeks. DSCI0002 (6).JPG

          They got rust but they still formed blubs.

          Boiled up the Leek snorks for lunch :)

            Tempted to dig one up to see what the state is.

            Love leeks....got a few starting to grow in my neighbours abandoned raised bed.
