    Rattus Norvegicus

These are now rushing across our lawn and grabbing fallen seeds from the bird feeder. They look cute but I don't want them in our garden. The other week there were two of them and I shot one as it was rushing across the lawn. I hoped it would deter the other one and I didn't see it for about two weeks. Now we have two again

So, regrettably, it is going to have to be rat poison. I have the poison but need to get a bait box in order to protect the birds etc. I had the poison because there were rats burrowing under the neighbour's paving that butted on to our garden. So we both put poison down the holes in both gardens. That got rid of them.

We can't afford to let them breed in the gardens. Why can't they just stay in the fields?

On Monday Woo ordered a new gate for the side entrance to his nest he paid extra to have it delivered the next day between 8am and 1pm.

On Tuesday morning Woo waited and waited until 1.30pm still had not arrived so I phoned them up after 26 options finally got through ,and was told that it was not in stock, when I had ordered it,so I politely asked for my money to be refunded, the young lady said that my money would be refunded as soon as the gate was returned to the warehouse,I asked again nicely how could it be returned to the warehouse when it hadn't even gone out for delivery ,she just repeated the same statement and quoted the rules and conditions,so she cancelled the initial order and said that my money would be refunded as soon as it was back in the warehouse:wallbanging:
so I ordered a different gate for delivery this morning between 8am and 1pm ,at 11am a knock at the door it was the chap with my different gate.my second order,he said hello Owl what happened yesterday they phoned me up and told me not to deliver the gate which I had on the back of my van and to return back to the warehouse, but he did say he was outside the house when he received the call:heehee: he did say that as soon as the gate was returned, because he had both gates on the van now,he would put in my request for a refund which could take 5 to 10 days:gaah::heehee:

They have also taken the amount for both Gates from my Bank account there must a moral to this story(Sorry saga)I have heard of Watergate and Cow and Gate and even Extravagate,
