You most certainly won't whiz past without noticing us. This is typical of what you will see.

 

I'm afraid I won't be able to join you for the Indian this time (maybe next year?) - I am getting there in little steps. I was pretty horrified when I found out that I was earmarked to work that weekend, and initially it looked like I might only make the last hour or so on the Sunday. A wee bit of sweet talking and you are more likely to see me sat outside your drive waiting for opening time on the Saturday - that way I can get a good while with you, and still make it back home to be on call for the late afternoon and evening.

For the past four years, I have not been able to come because of work, so I was hell-bent to get there by hook or by crook this year. I am really looking forward to putting seeing as many our our GC family as possible, as well as a cuppa of course

 

Mrs JWK and myself are coming. I'll bring my spare tomato plants for you @fat controller if you still need some?

 

Sorry we can't make it for the curry though.

 

I am actually OK I think John, as my salvage efforts seem to have worked. The only one that I haven't got is a Black Krim, but even then I think we should have enough. I am planning on being there fairly early on the Saturday, so hope to see you there?

 

Being early is the best time to get plants . We have a few regular early birds who come just to buy plants. One man used to come and buy a lot of them and, I think, sold them on at a car boot sale the same morning!

Next year you can arrange it in reverse. We're on the road from the Heath to Sawbo station. We had almost 500 people turn up last year.
