      Finally finished the front and the patio furniture had its final coat.
      Watered everything in the GH and I've only just realised I've not sown any tomatoes this year :doh:.

          Went up the plot put melons in their pots, put sticks in for French beans, tidied the polytunnel, watered and before I went had a good nose at everyone's plots :biggrin: going to miss it!

          Went home decided I needed 4 new hanging baskets and more pots, went to wilko.. planted up pots and hanging baskets, shoved everything in around, found more things I haven't got round to :doh: spread spent compost over back border, mowed the lawn, gave some dahlias, antirrhinum, zinnia and phlox to next door, moved pots.. potched for a bit, sorted kids/cats/chickens and went to pack.. pooped! Nos da! :snooze:

            To be honest, I'll be glad when the Late Spring Bank Holiday is over because I won't be tripping over the number of six cell trays that are covering the paths, patio, Gable End of the House and I can have my garden back!!:heehee:

              Well you're obviously far more qualified than me :snorky:. And probably an expert at dealing with cat vomit and cat poo and cat hairballs, so you would be perfect for the job :snorky::heehee::heehee::loll::loll:

                If you don't mind, luciu, I pass on that as being a slave to two cats is enough I can bear.
                Yes, I did read Dimitis's story and it reminded of a cat we had many years ago. He was a massive Cat and a real fighter always getting into scrapes, and not known of his friendliness to humans, including my Wife and I. Anyway, he'd disappeared for a couple of days and came back with a huge infected hole in the back of his head and we could see he was in pain. Now, he was not a Cat you could pick up and cuddle even under normal circumstances and I learnt that very quickly with some very deep scratches.
                But, since we couldn't leave him in that state, I scooped him up in a Bath Towel, wrapping it around him so that he couldn't fight or scratch me. To my surprise, while I held him and my Wife started to clean out the really infected hole he started to purr and relax. When my Wife had finished we could see the bone of his skull so she managed to put on a patch to cover it [being a Senior Saint Johns Nurse]. He was happy enough to be banned from leaving the house until his wound had healed, and also submitted to be wrapped in the towel whenever my Wife looked on the wound and kept it clean from infection.........and he purred every time. When he got back his health things got back to normal and he would only let you pick him up when he wanted.:dunno::cat-kittyandsmiley:

                  Absolutely shattered! Busy last few days. Apart from cleaning out the pond, tidied up a load of forget me nots out of beds, planted about 50 plug plants id been growing, weeded all the borders(front and back, round the outside wall and each of the 7 borders around 7 trees in the communal areas. Pruned a massive hebe, some gigantic unknown shrub/tree/bush, pruned the garriya(sp?), penstemon, cotoniastia and some other similar evergreen, split some lungwort, geraniums and replanted them. Tied up loads of plants, cut grass. Think that's it?!?

                    Went to donate blood after work. When I got home I watered everything, poo picked in the chicken coop and run then continued to notch out posts for compost bins. My arm started to really ache though so I knocked it on the head and sat in with the chooks for best part of an hour. They are starting to get less wary now and one even thought about eating some corn out of my hand, but she bottled it at the last minute.

                      Good morning to day I have 50 pelargoniums to transplant in to one of my raised bed,I thought I would try red,white and blue this year,and a pergola to paint ,in bright yellow,a happy colour:smile:

                        Today I will be scrubbing an area of the patio, pruning another huge hebe and somehow taking the two builders bags full of prunings to the tip.

                          We did more tree pruning, removed the top 20ft from our Bay tree and reduced the width by about 3ft all round, emptied one of our compost heaps and spread it around (makes things look tidier :)) and spent a lot of time moving things around ready for Open Day.

                          I've now stopped pressure hosing to clean the patio and use a product called Wet and Forget. Just spray it on and leave it. It gradually works on cleaning the patio over a number of weeks/months. Supposedly non-toxic.

                            The very best tempting treats for chooks are ... mealworms! They are like crack cocaine to hens. Mine will practically knock each other out of the way to be first for those delicious morsels :heehee:

                              Went to garden centre this morning and picked some Begonia up and two more peppers, just watching the end of the cycling and will go and plant them up.

                                With my old ones I used to get a quarter pint of white maggots from the fishing table shop. They used to go mad for them.
