got the pruning finished and scrubbed the patio and it's come up lovely. Also put a triangular cover over the pond and the fish have loved it! Went round to my neighbours and she gave me loads of cuttings and dug up lots of plants for me, bless her. She's really kind. She's from Bali and used to grow everything from cuttings. She's got a fantastic allotment too-real green fingers.

Lol M, well yes, putting a TV in the garden is one of my main priorities especially before the tour starts :dbgrtmb:

If I had one today I could have planted them up while listening and watching at times :)

Sown another batch of salad leaves; sown some rocket (both in gutter gardens).
Labelled all the odd pots of "edibles" so the family know what not to put washing up water on!
Soaking some peas over night for a harvest of "pea shoots" (which will be planted in a gutter garden tomorrow).
Bagsied some courgette plants (ahead of the rush, pick up on Saturday) so I can grow courgettes in a mesh shopping bag this year :hapydancsmil:
Pondering when to put my Tumbling Toms into the Veg Trug (they only have a couple of leaf sets at the moment and are still being "nursed" in the grow house)
Final "earth-ing up" of my Duke of York spuds ... no room left in the growing bag for any more soil, so they will just have to fill out and fill up! :snooty:
General "just having a cuppa in the garden" sort of time in the garden ... sit down for a cuppa and then ... spy a bit of bindweed needing pulling/notice a new flower head opening/take a moment to smell the roses but notice another pernicious weed needing a bit of a pull etc :heehee:
              Glorious!

I drew the line at a TV in bedroom! :nonofinger: A TV in the garden is a step beyond the pale in my (humble) opinion!! :hate-shocked: :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Lol I hear what your saying M :blue thumb:, but I see it like this :snork:,

One of my hobbies is satellite tv, I have all parts to install it sitting around doing nothing, main things I like to watch is cycling and football, mainly broadcast in the day time and I love to sit and watch it :),

Unfortunately on a lovely day like today I sat indoors watching TV, I would prefer to be sitting in the sun enjoying all my hard work watching the cycling :).

I never sit in the garden every time I'm in it I'm working :frown: a TV would change this, happy days for me :Wino:

New neighbours moved in today, they seem really nice. I didn't realise at the time of meeting them I had shorts, tee shirt and a pair of wellies on, whilst swigging a bottle of cider. Then about an hour later I was cleaning out chooks in same attire whilst talking to the chickens and telling them how pretty they were. I bet they think I'm a right nutter :rasp::rasp:

Did a bit of watering and a bit of tricking. Then did my best to turn the compost in the plastic dalek, boy was it warm. Can't wait to get my new bins made.

As we've run out of time for carrying on with the weeding we spread another compost heap over some of the beds to hide them :snork:

I've done the final trimming of edges before the weekend, have the last of the mowing to do and then it will be time to clear everything out of the way before setting up tomorrow. :phew:

I hope my back will last out. :noidea:

Today in the green playground I have planted the Veg Trug with spring onions, radish, Swiss Chard, dwarf French beans and taken the plunge putting a couple of the tumbling toms in too. In between the toms I've sprinkled some basil seeds.

In pots I have planted coriander and basil.

Finally found the gladioli I put away for safe keeping last Autumn and quickly put those in :oopss: Getting a bit warm out there now so I've come in for some shade :phew: :coffee:
