Do both! An arch with the pots flanking it :wub2:

What would you grow up the arch?

Well I was just out there looking at it again, and yes I have become obsessed:snorky:

And I think I could put an arch at an angle leading into the area so that the arch would get some sun from the east and a little of the evening sun too. I have to say I have a bit of a thing for roses on an arch I have a rambling/ climbing rose on a couple of arches and as ground cover in other parts of the garden, that I have taken loads of clippings from and its a quick grower so maybe start with that and add maybe some clematis or jasmine for more interest at different times of the year.

I love how these simple tidy up jobs always get bigger. I'm looking in the attic for some old festoon lighting too.

I also have some lovely old fashioned roses growing in the greenhouse that were cuttings taken from my late grandmothers garden they could be good on the arch. they have a climbing tendency as they have gone 6 foot up a trellis in the GH

:heehee: Welcome to a *real* "Gardener's World" :heehee: I go outside just for a cuppa and discover (to my horror) that hours have passed by ... worse yet ... my tea has gone cold!!! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

          Oh, how absolutely WONDERful!!!!! :dbgrtmb:
Have you posted asking for an ID on them?
It would be great to have an idea on which type they were and if they would suit that particular area/arch (in terms of sunlight, container/earth etc) and what a fabulous way to remember her.

                  Bravo!!! :love30: :love30: :love30:

Completely different space, extremely welcoming and lush - you've made a fantastic job of what (before) looked like a dead space: very inspirational!

Go to the top of the class :star:

Now, any chance of putting a little fold up seat between the 3rd and 4th pot from the front on the right hand side ....

... so I can enjoy a cuppa when I pop round? :dunno:  :coffee:
