Never grown pink octopus alp.....is it bushy or does it flop?
To keep potted plants happy I use a rich compost mix for hostas and the like. I mix dried manure, chicken pellets, fish blood n bone, sieved garden soil and mpc. It makes a moisture and nutrient holding medium that plants seem to enjoy. Vine weevils ....touch wood...seem to avoid it too :rasp:

@Verdun I think I must have asked the question before as there is already a notepad document called verdun... So I named this one verdun2.

Verdun You must have this octopus pink as it is upright but is susceptible to slug attacks, so I have kept it indoors. After that it's minimal care and the have side shoots easily. A worthy investment.

      A blue Layla streptocarpus

can't remember the name of this.. one of those bought near the end of the season.

Think this blue one is just called Streptocarpus.

Another name whose name escapes me.. My labelling is diabolical!

      This one is totally infested.

It looks as though you've been taking photos in our garden :snork:. One of Mrs Shiney's hobbies is flower arranging and we have a very large variety of foliage plants that she uses. She also supplies some of the flower clubs and some of the church festivals. :) Although I love our garden and plants I'm not into flower arranging :noidea:
