Watch out for labour's stealth taxes.....the garden tax is one...if they form a minority government. Council tax could more than double. We gardeners are seen as the wealthy by them; all that unoccupied space??:nonofinger:

I wonder if Corbyn's anti-Israeli stance has helped him to get votes from the other faction.

We have to protest before it becomes law.. I want my garden or veg patch.. and hen run..

I wish Tim Fallon were knocked out. No. What a shame. Now they are talking Boris Johnson lining up to oust May. What is wrong with politics, nut militant and clumsy clown.. and then there is Trump ...

OK, no more politics.. What a strange old day. Now it's gloriously sunny and lovely.. Save the best for last.

Didn't fancy making a new thread.. feel a bit let down, my delphinium from seed has just started to flower and I'm not sure if I like it or the fact I waited 18 months for it to flower!

@Linz Are you sure there is a delphinium here in the photos? The leaves do look like those of delphinium and I know there is a delphinium with round like like florets.. But these really beat me, hands down. Mind you, I'm not a gardener... Where did you buy these seeds/plants? Very intriguing.. We need Sherlock Holmes...:yikes::snork::ideaIPB:

Can't remember what brand they were but they clearly showed pink, white and blue delphiniums on the front! Maybe @Silver surfer could help out, please!

Quite architectural.. Yes. I saw photo showing them growing near a big pond and one with Monty behind them. Can be a real asset .. You might have to move them then.. The flowering stem might bulk up and you might like the plant ..

Its a Ligularia Przewalskii, the flower spikes are beautiful when in full swing. They can be grown in full sun quite easily if the ground is moist / wet enough, they tend to droop if they get blasted by afternoon sun. Best planted in part shade in damp conditions. Slugs can get a appetite for them as well. I have two variety's Little rocket and przewalskii, this my ligularia przewalskii last year it grown to about 5 - 6ft. :)

Thank you @Perki yours look wonderful! The bed is sloping and quite stoney, so well drained and gets sun all day, I'll see how it goes for this year and move it if it gets unhappy, don't think it is though! :)
