I've just noticed how much they change colours,
    look at 2015
    [IMG]

    Flowers are purple and red

    Now look at 2016
    [IMG]

Pink and white, ive not done anything with them, it must be cross pollinating, I think I asked about this last year,

It will be interesting what colour I get this year :)

Actually missing the garden whilst I'm away...been gob smacked at the beautiful masses of purple lupins that grow all along the road side here.

Before I left on wednesday i was out in the garden with my new toy....bosch battery powered hedge cutter. Made light work of all the connifers in the garden....looking neat again.

They couldn't raise animals in the fields as the lupins are poisonous. :hate-shocked:

                But scenery was spectacular

Dead heading, weeding, fastening up things that got knocked over by the wind earlier in the week. Also fill in some of the gaps with HHA and plant out some new arrivals.

Remove Japanese acer that is too big for it's space, not a named variety but a seedling. Find red handled trowel that I mislaid this morning; again!

Too wet to do anything in the garden.. in fear of looking crazy to neighbours. So went up the plot yesterday, weeded for 2 hours in the peeing down rain, went home, had a cup of tea and got into dry clothes, went back up to do another hour and half. Then I did feel a bit crazy.

IMG_1357.JPG Was up at 3.20am this morning:yawn: and waited until a bit later before I went out into the front garden and started dead heading and pulling up gone over granny's bonnets.I do love them but they are like weeds and one years seeding is seven years weeding as the seedlings come up everywhere and the mother/granny plant smothers all my other plants:sad:

After breakfast we went for a walk but it took longer than it should have done as we were busy trying to find Bee/Spotted Orchids to take photos of:yes:

Back home I started getting some housework done and then about getting the dinner cooked.Had a five minute sit down and then went out to mow the lawns.Mr Kandy has decided to pressure wash the paving slabs so I have that din to listen to:sad:

As my feet are now aching a lot I am now indoors with my feet up.

Want to get outside with my Camera as have spotted some more plants in flower but it will have to wait as I am stuck here for the time being:sad:

                            No wonder my tootsies hurt:biggrin:

Nothing today, I was going to make a needed compost heap but the weathers a bit hit and miss,

Cadged a couple of pallets and have all the wood from the arbour I dismantled the other day,

I will build it in this corner

From path to planters needs landscaping, I don't think ill get round to it this year though, i need to find a spare £1000 first.
