It certainly does ... and there is one flower scent wafting my way which also stops me in my tracks ... a smile would be stretching it a bit though: Dracunculus anyone? :runforhills:

Ah, it is too red for Bowl of Beauty. The owner of the beauty said it's called celebrity..

I would have a tendency to agree that it is Bowl of Beauty, despite the fact that the label said that it was called Celebrity. Thats the reason I used the phrase "according to the label" in my post. If it helps anyone come up with a different answer, the petals are exactly the same colour as a Karl Rosenfeldt.

I only went by the shape and number of petals in the flower, Sandy. Colours are a different matter as the interpretation of colour from the camera sensor to the Computer Screen is just so unreliable so I try not to put too much trust in that.:snorky:

According to the most of the plant forums Peony "Celebrity" is more like this ....

I have Peony "Karl Rosenfield" but again the colour in the image is actually lighter than it is in real life.

I do love it as it really stands out in the borders.:snorky:

Well, this is Peony Celebrity, alp..........

And this is "Bowl of Beauty.

To be honest, I never put much trust in plant labeling whether I've bought a plant from a Nursery or from on the Net, the number of times that they are mislabeled is sometimes beyond belief.
I have said this before but the colours that you see on a Computer Monitor are not
accurate. I've just looked at a page of images for both Peony "Celebrity" and "Bowl of Beauty" and the difference of colours in all the images goes from light pink to deep pink..........:wallbanging::snorky:

Hello Zigs, that's a gorgeous colour. Makes a change from the usual pinky/purples.
