He was a rifleman he still shoots to this day but only air rifles now, a lovely man told me a few stories in the little time I've known him .

I had skin cancer 18 yrs ago , and I can tell you that it's not a nice thing to have, my cousin died from it at 39 yrs old Please keep yourself safe and wear it at all times.


The sun is lovely, but needs treating with great care, if not then it can become a killer !!!

So many plants to water and so little rainwater left. The air is already warming up. I wish the weather reports were more accurate.

 

Hello there everyone, how are things with you on this lovely summer's morning.

We are certainly having a bit of a scorcher at the moment. Thankfully ( she says touching wood) all the plants are managing to put a brave face on and are coping well with the lack of water.

Which is just as well as there is not a drop of rain in sight for the next 10 days at least.

Glad to hear that you are sun safe. Mind you I always thought I was too......just goes to show!
I had to have two lots of surgery and then six monthly check ups for 10 yrs.

I now wear light cotton 'cover up's , hat and always sunglasses when out in the sun......the hospital drilled that into me!!

When weeding, or planting out I use a huge staked extendable sunshade, that follows me all around the garden as I work.

I not too bad , doing OK thanks .
How about you , you must be really suffering in this heat with the brace How long now before you can stop using it?

 

Your sunshade that "follows you around the garden" Upsy? My imagination tells me your OH is kept pretty busy :rasp:
