    As my 67th birthday is looming I have decided it is now time to hang up my micrometer and finally retire ! I have worked for nearly 50 years as an engineer, for many different companies mainly automotive . For the last year I have worked a three day week which has eased me into retirement mode. So now I can tend to my garden and BBQ the odd sausage for Molly our cocker spaniel :wagtail: And I will also be available 24/7 for my rather dubious gardening advice ! :biggrin:

        If you've got a Cocker Spaniel you're half way to keeping yourself fully occupied, but it's a bit difficult in weather like this, but no excuses now not to get up for a walk at 4:30 in the morning before it gets too hot.
