        Yes what's that
@Upsydaisy OH took Berry to have his booster jab at the vets. He also gets weight checked which is ok. I stayed at home and potted on some chillies and 3 cucumber plants that didn't get done before. Run out of compost, have to wait until OH can get some to finish them.:)

Happy Summer Solstice folks.. longest day of the year. Hottest June of Record here too, 34c. Sweltering - only watering will be done later. Might shower myself with the hose instead!

So many undecided places for plants that they've ended up forming a bed of their own on the decking. So many impulse purchases

Ha ha Mark....good to know somebody else has this "problem" :)
I have agastaches, salvias,,variegated agapanthus, delphiniums, pinks, fuschias, cannas, dahlias, guaras, echinaceas, sanguisorbas (another coming tomorrow) crinums, hymenocallis, pennisetum rubrums, etc etc. They are all "must have", of course, yet I'm not one for just squashing in plants. They have to complement or contrast well when planted. Most of them are in 3 litre or bigger pots......all of them good varieties too!
Some will be donated to local hospice fete but maybe I should sell a few:tomato:

@zenj ... Shame you're fed up with it whilst I'm dying for it.... Not a drop in any of the 7 butts. Shame one of the most important conduits got disconnected during the only raining few days and most of the water went to the lawn... Cry me a river. This morning I watered with the water hose from the tap.. for an hour and a half until the connector fell out of my tap.:yikes: I moved most of the plants to the shady area which is a tiny strip of a foot wide.

Lovely flowers, @Mark56 and I have the same Salvia Sensation rose. Those coreopses are gorgeous. I love that delphinium. Can't blame you for those impulse buys. @Verdun I can feel your excitement and happiness. I guess the excitement can only be appreciated by those who love plants. @Verdun Sell some so can you can use the money to branch out .. There is always something new.. Well, to me any way..

Whilst looking for my sac of rice, I found something under the staircase. To my surprise, it was a bag of scaled lilies called Elana Double. I had no recollection of the name. Terrible.

                SAM_0227.JPG

This happens to me all the times, forgetting about plants that I have. My heart nearly stopped beating when I realised that I had not seen my hibiscus mutabilis or trionum seedlings for days:wallbanging::wallbanging:. A big sign of relief when I found them.. I so hope they will make it to next year or even flower this year. Forever the optimist I am!
