Paladin, I'm surprised that with such a 'large' broken piece of glass in the glasshouse that Hidcote Manor didn't have to close the whole of the gardens!!!!
shiney,They would have had to because of the H & Safety. In fact I was there again today replacing another so they can keep it open tomorrow. Travelling through this white stuff:sleigh:
No work today...just a chance to stand and watch two lads fitting our new multi stove and liner. Gas fire gone.. Stove in situ.. Job done..
That's the idea Zig......3kw kick out but will have to wait until the weekend to try her out, when I can have the door open to get rid of the 'newness' stink....anyone who's had one will know what I mean..
Know all about stink, Sis put a whole Goose carcass on the stove to boil down for stock last week, then promptly went to bed leaving it on.:runhills: Nothing but charred black ash the next morning, i'm going to pour acid on it to make a fertiliser.
The stove is brilliant Now I need to pass this on...Cost £450...yours for £50.The slab behind is a 2'x2'
Halls Court. Stratford upon Avon. Leaded Light repairs. Very thin glass meant I was unable to peen the lead corners as well as I would do normally. At £35+ a pane I couldn't risk it.
Yes shiney,I use the term because it is an action I used when welding cast metal...to stretch the hot weld. On the lead it has to be a softer touch though:D
