    Paladin, I'm surprised that with such a 'large' broken piece of glass in the glasshouse that Hidcote Manor didn't have to close the whole of the gardens!!!! :DOH: :heehee:

    shiney,They would have had to because of the H & Safety. In fact I was there again today replacing another so they can keep it open tomorrow.

        No work today...just a chance to stand and watch two lads fitting our new multi stove and liner.

          That's the idea Zig:dbgrtmb:......3kw kick out but will have to wait until the weekend to try her out,when I can have the door open to get rid of the 'newness' stink....anyone who's had one will know what I mean..:thud:

          Know all about stink, Sis put a whole Goose carcass on the stove to boil down for stock last week, then promptly went to bed leaving it on.:runhills:

          Nothing but charred black ash the next morning, i'm going to pour acid on it to make a fertiliser.

                Very thin glass meant I was unable to peen the lead corners as well as I would do normally. At £35+ a pane I couldn't risk it.

                  Yes shiney,I use the term because it is an action I used when welding cast metal...to stretch the hot weld. On the lead it has to be a softer touch though:D
