Gosh, the first one and the last one really speak to me. @shiney So pretty and so ancient from the 50s..

Just catching up with Broken about homosexuality .. Really enjoyed it and cried quite a bit. Are they mutually exclusive, cry and enjoy?

        Good morning everyone
Quick visit to the beach earlier....very misty, very warm and peaceful :)
We may get persistent mist here for most of the day although I can see and feel the sun coming. 2 miles away and it is already sunny....so much for living on the coast !:)

          Morning all:fan::giggle:....hot isn't it!

We have a couple of fairly ordanary hydrangeas that, apart from an annual haircut, are left to their own devices!

As yet still haven't reached a decision on what to do today....just the effort of deciding makes me hot!!

Sometimes I wish that I did enjoy watching tennis......I could make myself ' busy' watching that indoors in the cool!

For those that do like it then have a Terrific Tennis Watching Thursday.....for all who don't then please delete the ' Tennis Watching'!

We were supposed to have had some thunder storms, but their gone.Hazy sunshine. Disided to do some vacuuming, washed my hair. Sorted some of the frozen currants. I've found some netting for shading the GH. Took all the glass doors out so it wouldn't get too hot, got all my wallflowers there because nowhere else to put them. But their doing alright.

Don't worry, it might Flower later. Did you leave all the old flowers on from last year. Until the danger of frost has gone? If not that's what you'll have to do next time.

                    :think2:
Might be something to do with the variety you have chosen? :dunno:

There is one which has 57 varieties, but the name escapes me right now :snorky:

                    :heehee:

That was an excellent drama - I had a tear in my eye at the end of the final episode. Wasn't too sure what to make of the concept when I read about it, but, reading the list of actors, especially the writer, tweaked my interest. Glad I watched it all through
My only gripe was SB's hair :shakehead: I kept thinking: :waggy: "Get your bliddy hair cut, man!"

Watched a bit of the Hampton Court Show, I'll catch up with it on i-Player later :dbgrtmb:

@Upsydaisy it's definitely the heat. I am sweating sitting down with 2 pairs of heavy curtains screening off the west setting sun! Ahhhhhhhhhh!
I feel sooo sorry for you. I'm sweating just sitting down being a keyboard warrior and now you're going to stand up being a plasterboard warrior! :fan: Hope this helps. All the real ones have sold out!

They look very healthy and if you really like them, take cuttings now. Now everything will grow, especially this robust little perennial.

Some of my memory making moments

I have stayed within the magic number of 12 pics or the alert box will scream ..

This morning, I was pleasantly surprised by a perfume and walking closer, I realised that it was my tree lilies.

Never keen on the purple buddleias, but this pure white one really tickles me pink.. (what does that mean?), especially because it self-seeded itself from a big bottle of wildflower seeds for 30p

I think it is a very concerted attack on Catholicism... Funny thing is that Adrian Dunbar says SB should pray and there would be answers from gawd.. What platitude .. ?

I agree with you re: SB: In fact, I would give him a good scrub. No, not enough. Perhaps 10 hair washes with shampoo dedicated to greasy hair and 5 facials to remove all the grime and blackheads from his face .. And he has just got married for a fifth time...

Ned Dennehy acts wonderfully as a gay man, or perhaps he is... He's very well cast... I only found out his name after reading the credits..

I'm not saying it is hot, but if I didn't have a schuch in my bum, I think I would drown! So glad to be indoors in the air conditioning now.

Everything has been watered for the second time today, not least as the forecast storms and rain completely passed us by - not happy.
