I love keeping up with the updates! Sadly photobucket has removed everything! I hope you can recover the pics somehow!

Oh no! @bigbore there are a lot of other image hosting sites you could use instead - or upload the pictures to the forum directly?

It would be a shame to not see any more updates from you, clearly you've gone to lots of trouble and work to getting your garden to a lovely stage already but not to see any more of it would be very sad indeed!

Someone (I think it was @Fat Controller ?) posted instructions a while back on how to upload pictures to the forum - perhaps you could search for those?

Otherwise, services like Imgur, Flickr, imgbox otrpostimage (I just searched for these!) may be of use to you? They all let you upload pictures to them for free and then link to the pictures on forums and other websites.

It would definitely be a shame for the thread to stop! Please don't give up! :spinning:

@bigbore - fear not, there are ways around it! The first step is to log into your photobucket account and down load all of your images (assuming that you don't already have copies on your PC that is); this is quite easy to do - when you go into an 'album' on the photobucket site, over to the right you will see a link to download the album; clicking this link will download a zipped folder containing all your images to your PC.

Once you have them downloaded, you can either load them individually to posts here (drag and drop into the text box is the easy way to go) as you go, or you can create a gallery and store them in your gallery here - the gallery option is a good one, as you can even make your gallery private so that only you can see the pictures, but then insert the images into a post for all to see that particular image. Let me know if you need any help?

Good evening all, it seems like a life time ago I started this project.
Just to let you all know the garden still lives on and is going stronger than ever, got a few peojects coming up and I will try and update this post again on a weekly basis..

What's the best way of uploading pictures and also replacing the old missing ones..

Love and peace to all Bigbore x

Hi @bigbore - glad everything is going well.

Replacing the original photos would require each post to be edited and the replacement images inserted, and that is something that only an admin could do, and would be quite lengthy given how many images we are looking at.

I am inclined to suggest that you start a new thread, put a hotlink in this thread to the new thread (I can help you with that) and then we lock this thread and you can have things exactly as you want them in the new thread.

Yes that sounds like a plan... that would be great. Will start a new thread now
