Not much in the way of bargains my local Tescos, all I got were a couple of packs of half price labels.

Many thanks @Redwing, however, still got a lot of stone to get rid of, if you'd like a week's holiday in Fife......:). I'm off to visit the local farms to see if they have any spare manure. I've only lifted about 1% so far and that filled 11 wheelbarrows. I have quite a nice dry stone wall under construction! Perhaps I should start up a quarry business rather than even attempt to get green stuff to grow on this area. I've been going down about 4 inches and yes ok I should be going down further but hell life is too short. I have an awful feeling if I hire a renovator a whole new crop of stone will appear (audible groan).
Thanks @Jiffy had a look at their website and if my neighbouring farmer can't do me a better deal than that I will get some when (if ever) I am at the stage of fertilising the ground.
Sorry @Scrungee to have somewhat hijacked this thread with my trials and tribulations of trying to return a piece of ground that has been built on/top soil removed, to pasture. I won't moan on further:)

Only £15.06/bag from LBS if buying 50 x 25Kg bags (1.25 tonnes for £753 delivered). But that's 60p/Kg, and it's only 49p/Kg reduced at Asda.

Hoping these might be further reduced, plus some additional items reduced when we go end of day bargain shopping on Sunday.

900g Vitax Q4 reduced further to £1 (but none left).

3.5 Kg Jacks Magic fertilizer now £2.50 (bought last 2).

              1.25 Kg Bonemeal now 56p (NB BF&B still £2.50).

Tesco weedkiller sachets reduced from £3.75 to 94p.

Stainless steel children's hand trowels reduced from £2.50 to 63p.

First Alert carbon monoxide detectors reduced fro £25 to £6.25. These were in the seasonal aisle.

              and lots more

P.S. Lots of their camping stuff is now half price, but if it's same price on Tesco Direct there's some codes to use and get down further and use free click and collect.

Those 63p small trowels for small gardeners look like a really good buy.

Broken pots now only 31p!!! (still not tempted). They need to knock a bit more off.

Potting compost was reduced to half price in the Tesco (Bicester, Oxon) I visited yesterday, but still full price in different store the day before.

EDIT: Now seems to be half price in all stores.
