We actually got the rain that the weather guessers had promised. Not a huge amount but enough to give all the lawn and gardens a thorough watering. Certainly reduces today's to do's a fair amount

I've been so busy the past few days I've barely had time to stand still!

Ozzy's visit to Fitzpatrick's went ok but the day was hot, long and tiring. The traffic came to a standstill on both the outward and homeward bound journeys - so, five and a half hours travelling for a one hour appointment! He is still on pain management and muscle building for now and I now need to look into hydrotherapy for him. He should love that! When we used to go to Doggy School he would always begin the day with a swim in the local river, so, I'm optimistic this will be successful ... just need to find a good one now.

@"M" the gods were actually very kind to me that day. It stopped raining just before I put the top down and loaded up and then didn't start up again until about 10 minutes after I had unloaded and put the top back up

Then I crawled around on the floor helping put together an Ikea wooden bed...

 

Morning all, hope everyone is well.

It's a rather special day in the Trunky household - it's our 30th wedding anniversary today.

Although we're both working, I have one or two surprises lined up for Mrs Trunky today which I hope she'll like.

We're going out for meal tonight - nothing fancy, just the two of us at a local pub which does very good food. I was quite happy to go somewhere posh and expensive, but it was Mrs Trunky's idea to go to this particular establishment, it's quite close to where we'll be living when the anticipated house move happens, so we'll probably become regulars there anyway.
Ever practical and doesn't have expensive tastes - reminds me why I love her.

We are going to be having a mostly sunny day here. I have some little jobs to tackle outside and it will be a good day to do them. I think I'll probably put something to bake in the sunoven too
