Been mega busy bee today and I'm exhausted. Been prepping potential GW visit area.
        IMG_0707.JPG IMG_0707.JPG

Which included digging out the last blimmin bit of model railway track  all whilst being attacked by thousands of those irritating little thunderbug things.

Been feeling down about the garden today-it feels like it's a mess. Bloody slugs have attacked my acanthus with a vengeance after it was looking so good. The sweet peas are collapsing because they are so huge. Second time I've had to stabilse them!!

Just generally lots of bits dont seem that great. Humph.

The pictures I have seen of your garden it looks really nice :). I think a lot of us go through a stage of hating the garden and feeling overwhelmed by it. I'll show you some pics of mine, I guarantee you will feel better about yours :loll: :heehee:

Managed to lay some membrane and gravel this afternoon. Wheelbarrow needs new wheel, so had to lug gravel in a bucket. So, not my idea of fun:rolleyespink: . Very hot again. Sat on patio with an ice lolly contemplating the mess the garden is still in and the daily clean up after the builder has left. I've worked it out that once the work is completed it will take 10 days of deep cleaning a room a day to get the house back to a liveable state :hate-shocked:. I wish I could find a cleaner.

New bathroom and a light tunnel. This is the 3rd week of what should have been a week's work as had problems with getting shower base and screen - long story. As well as the general mess and chaos there is marble dust everywhere. Its still settling and inevitably gets transferred to other rooms. Also the mosaics in the utility room faded due to a manufacturing fault so Graeme ( builder ) is replacing those. More dust ! It will be worth all the stress as Graeme is very good builder and the bathroom looks amazing.

Wow this is brilliant.! Nervous excitement is normal and good for a kick up the backside to get what needs to be done ticked off. I used to get it a lot before going on stage. Prior to performing I'd see it as unhelpful. Afterwards, I realised it actually worked in a positive way!

I'm looking forward to hearing how you get on. Enjoy and well done Snorky

Thanks @Tinker86 you are right-I've just cleaned out the greenhouse!!! Lol. Got a proper gardenener to help me on Monday to stop me getting so overwhelmed and going into meltdown. Weather is clearing up so going to get back out there and do some more sweeping up!
