@"M", so was it you that had the Ipomoea cutting I took to shineys?

I remember you unwinding the stem that had started to climb a cane, the stem I had spent the best part of two weeks trying to get to twine.

:heehee: I did do that  but I can tell you this much ... it has needed *no* fussing to twine around my arbour. I wanted you to know I hadn't killed it off with my brown thumbs :heehee:
I'm really thrilled with it, so a big :thanks: for nurturing it and taking it to Shineyland

You need to keep it frost free this winter and pot it on next spring, it will be twice the size next year, if you do.

:ThankYou: I don't have a sunny conservatory, so, it is going to have to go into the bathroom, which is the brightest room over winter (same with the red leafy plant I snaffled from your offerings too :heehee: ).
As for size, it has climbed to the top of the arbour and thickened out quite nicely  If it doubles next year, it will be absolutely stunning!

I just cut it off from the support at around 4ft high, dry it off slightly and keep it as cool as possible without any frost.
You could take a few cuttings if you want a back up.

The dark foliage, with the red flower ... I had that in my previous garden. Wanted to go back and sneak a bit of it after we'd moved but Mr "M" wouldn't let me (meany bean! :nonofinger: ) Totally regret not doing that because all the land has been massacred for a new build.
Please tell me what it is? I'd really love to have some in this garden and I really don't know what it is I am looking for. I loved it! :wub2:
