JULY PHOTO COMPETITION VOTING OPEN

Ok then, I shall vote first ...

1st place: Shiney with "Getting an Eye Full". A dramatic shot, the lighting is appealing ... plus (sorry guys) it brings back very happy memories for me

2nd place: Roders with "Ye old air conditioning". Not a sight we see very often and beautifully shot.

3rd place: Heucherella with "Silver-washed Fritillary sun-bathing up high". Loving the contrast in colours; the placement; the "moment" - beautifully shot!

1st......Marley Farley......Tower Fan Vault......I love the detail in this unusual shot.

2nd......Roders......Ye Old Air Conditioning......Old buildings have a fascinating charm all of their own.

3rd......Wiseowl......Eyes Wide Open......A rare sunny day! It's not easy to photograph the sun and Woo has captured it well.

 

1. Wiseowl '' Eyes wide open '' just because I like it best.

2. Shiney '' Pompoms in the sky '' never seen anything like this before.

3. Zigs '' Not going up there '' this makes me want to get the watercolours out again.

 

1. Tetters, Look up and Think of England...I like the simplicity and the composition.
2. Wiseowl, Eyes Wide Open.....a lovely sky shot
3. Roders, Ye Old Air Conditioning..... Interesting subject and strong lines.

I've dismissed the images without a garden theme so being very subjective here.

1. Bugs Point of View - Loopy Lupin - A great interpretation of the theme
2. Russian to the top of the tree - Shiney - Good luck with pruning that one!
3. Look up and think of England - Tetters - Well spotted and an apt title
