            Aloha everyone,

I nearly got around to doing some gardening yesterday, but didn't quite make it. :noidea: Michael was here and got a load of cutting back done (very big stuff) and strimmed the wild area before the rain started. I'd like to mow the wild area if it's dry enough.

I have lots of admin work to do in my office as I have a number of things I'm organising. :phew:

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

                    Good day everyone
Already been another busy day. My oldest son was here at 6 to switch vehicles - he's getting his kids early this week and with a blended family, my 7 seater van works well for them.

I need to get back working on a website for the other son. Having issues with one provider being slow about migrating the domain to a new dns. And that is stalling everything.

We promised a friend of my husband that we would go visit him today. He had a stroke about a year ago and his family just recently placed him in long term care - at a place the other side of Toronto - a nasty, busy, ignorant highway and city streets hour drive away. I figured they shoved him in the first place that came available instead of waiting for something the west side of Toronto where most of his friends are. OH doesn't drive on busy roads so I shall be driving. He prefers being driven in the van but since it is gone, we shall be tootling along there in my mustang.... at least I'll be kind and leave the top up! :heehee:

And I have an errand to run for my sister...

Oh, and doc says my foot hasn't healed enough and to wear the cast when going out for walks and shopping etc for another month. At least I don't have to wear it all day. Oh, and he says it's time the little hunk of steel I got stuck in there should be cut out too... we'll see..

Have a super day and play safe - and, if you have too much rain, please send it here

                        Aloha everyone,

@Zigs It will be tea with the vicar next! :heehee:

I've only got part way through the mowing as the grass was long and wet. I hit my maximum quota of time for doing it (one tank of petrol) and was pleased to give up as wet grass is very heavy. We're now into the peak cropping period so a lot of time is devoted to that.

Unfortunately, the bugs seem to love me and I've been suffering from bites for the last few weeks. These all come up in big angry lumps and blisters :cry3: and drive me mad (even madder than I am already!). I wrap up well, long sleeves, top tucked into waistband, trouser legs tucked into socks but they have still bitten me all over (including armpits and groin!!!). Whilst having all these bites I suffer from a continual light, nagging, headache. :gaah:

                        The joys of gardening :snorky:

On the up side, we're eating beans by the plateful, courgettes till they're coming out of our ears and plums by the pound. :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day

                        Aloha!

                            Gooooood morning fellow WW'ers :spinning:

Yesterday went well with Ozzy's hydro - although, to be fair, the poor lad really didn't have a clue what was going on and there was some whimpering going on indicating a stress level. Lots of encouragement required! He got into the tank with no issues and was a bit perplexed when it began filling up with water. He decided he was going to turn around (presumably to leave?) and, despite his size, he managed it - the hydro-therapist wasn't impressed :heehee: - so we had to turn him back around again  There was the classic moment when the tank had reached its level and the treadmill was turned on - his face ! He hadn't realised he had to move with it so it carried him that very short space into the back of the tank :lunapic 130165696578242 5: he got the message and began walking :doggieshmooze: During the rest period he decided he'd like to drink the water

The biggest shocker came after the treadmill. They showered him down, rubbed him down and then took him off to a (very small) room to give him a blow-dry. They call the machine a "blaster" and boy, it did!!! SO much undercoat came out and was flying everywhere. One girl looked like a snowman where she was covered, head to toe in Ozzy's undercoat :heehee: It just didn't stop blowing out!!! Now, silly mistake ... they kept the door to this little room OPEN :lunapic 130165696578242 5: Yup, you've guessed it ... the floor of the pool room was covered in Ozzy's undercoat and the pool was a sea of floating dander :heehee: I'm guessing they will close the door when we go back on Tuesday ;) :heehee:

                            How lovely!
 Hope that isn't the reason you are being given those biscuits

Don't you just cut the fine figure of a man! :heehee:
Sorry to read about your bites/blisters ... I can empathise ... I'm a magnet for midges :grphg:

Wishing all a good day of free biscuits and the only bites being the ones *you* take out of your bountiful harvests

We just had a light sprinkle of rain and the skies are still dark which makes me hopeful that more free water is on the way. :)

@shiney one thing is for sure, you'll never get bunged up eating all those beans!

@Zigs why do I picture lightning striking?

No, they're not those sort of beans. They are green beans. They don't have the same effect.
