Quite a lot of cloud but sunny periods and the wind is lighter, almost like summer again.

Hey ho @Sheal, isn't it blood- some?:). The amount of rain we have had recently has been historic in short bursts and then boiling hot...ridiculous. Went shopping as it was pointless doing stuff outside because of the rain. Went to the shops in a waterproof jacket for obvious reasons:). As a consequence was far far too hot and misted up the car on my way home. Consequence of that was I had to put the windows down in the car to demist the windscreen and got soaked from rain hurling itself into the car:gaah:. Box of washing powder was sitting on the back seat of the car and got drenched. I expect the contents now resembles something Blue Circle Cement would be proud of:mute:.
Thank goodness for The World Athletic Championships now on which I will follow avidly and to hell with the weather!

Definitely @silu ! :doh:It's so frustrating, the weather has been very Spring like with showers and sunshine at the same time. I wish it would have a good downpour and clear off! My daughter and family have been staying for the best part of two weeks now and we've only had two dry days. She still lives on the Isle of Man and the weather has been better there than here, typical! With youngsters to amuse it's not helpful. Having said that it does look as if it may improve over the weekend, fingers crossed. :fingers crossed:

Yesterday stayed dry and humid in Shineyland but the villages either side of us had rain. :rolleyespink:

Sunny now and not the slightest hint of a breeze. Rain is forecast from lunchtime until tonight.

Modified/manipulated, definitely not natural! :frown: Can't post full links as haven't posted enough yet. But there is no natural weather anymore and unfortunately, our weather is now a commodity and used to further a political agenda.

If you want to look into this further, Google the documentary, which starts of with the (cloud seeded) floods in Lynmouth in 1952:
                            Frankenskies (youtube)
                            and:

                            weathermodificationhistory

And, please don't shoot the messenger i.e. me! I have thoroughly researched this for the last seven years and I know it's happening. Therefore, I just had to post when I saw this thread and after the awful hail we have just had and the amount of rain full stop, cold temps and lack of sun. I just remember more normal summers of the 80s and 90s, which the summers of today are nothing like!!

I was there, at Lynton, and although we were safe from the floods we were all asked to leave the area.
