Some flowers seen at Welsh National Botanic Garden near Carmarthen. Apologies for blur - had been in Butterfly house and humidity probably still on phone lens!

 

Is that last one a proteus? Lovely photos btw

 

Hi @Loki - it's actually Banksia burchelli, so same family of proteacea. Their main greenhouse is dominated by australasian and south african plants, but most of the actual proteas have already finished flowering.

We grow the golden leycesteria too. Once you've got one, you'll have loads as we have, with loads and loads of little seedlings. If you want one, pm me and I can post it to you. Does well in clay type conditions here.
