Chrome Error Message

    According to this message, GC may contain malicious code!

    Displayed when clicking 'Edit' button on this post Foraged / Unusual food recipes' I've not tried again just in case it is correct.

    P.S. Screenshot is low brightness as I run Twilight App during hours of darkness.

      I've just been into the thread and clicked on edit in one of my posts. No report coming up but I'm not using Chrome - just IE

      Works fine in Chrome or Firefox for me.

      Are you using the latest version 60 of Chrome.

      What add ons are you using, some of those might be working against the XSS-Auditor part of Chrome and creating a false positive ....?

      Some add ons do allow you to disable them for a while, short of uninstalling them.

      Could also be a similar type of things with your AV suite.

      Have you done a full AV scan recently, just in case you have a nasty.

      Did you try and edit my post that produced that message when I tried editing it?

      It's an issue with Chrome and how some websites are set up and produces false warnings.

      Just tried editing that post again using same device but no error message this time.
