Hi. I am finding that at times I am getting several alerts to threads. When I click on the alerts button all the alerts are highlighted in yellow. Once I click on one of those alerts all the highlighting disappears. This means that when I go back into alerts I have to remember where I had got to. Is it not possible to leave Unchecked alerts highlighted?

Do you mean you are clicking on the pop up "Alerts" button (the white box which pops up on the lower left hand corner of the screen)? That's the only time I get the yellow highlights.
Don't know if that is possible, or not, but there are other ways of viewing the Alerts so that you don't lose your way.
The way I tend to do it is to hover my mouse over the word "Alerts" (top right hand corner of the page) and the list will drop down.
When the list is showing, I hover my mouse over one of them and then press the scroll button in the centre of my mouse - the effect is, the link opens in a new tab but still leaving the page I was on, with the list, still in view. Then I systematically do the same for the number of alerts I have. So, if I have 7 new alerts, I'll hover over each of them, press the mouse scroll button and then 7 new tabs will appear across the top of my browser. Now I can read each and every one (if the alerts are "replies" to threads) at my leisure and simply close the tab of each one I have finished with.
Sounds a bit long winded, but it isn't in reality.
