    Fortunately we seem to have it all under control for now. They would have a bit of a struggle to try and get onto the land opposite us at the moment (on the village green they're shifted immediately because of the permanent order). I haven't the faintest what the neighbour is doing but there is now an 8ft deep ditch and a 6ft high wall of soil around the site. It seems a bit of overkill (although it didn't take long to do) but I think he wants to keep them out whilst he puts in his defences and cannons.

        Spiders are not a problem here. If there are too many of them (I quite like them and definitely don't want to hurt them) I call for reinforcements (Mrs Shiney) and they are picked up gently and moved outside. I'm more afraid of hurting them than anything else.

        Mrs Shiney likes all creatures and they seem to like her. :blue thumb: I certainly do! :wub2:

            Think this may well be my line of defence too.. thanks for the lovely furry 8 legged pic, I don't know why but I'm not bothered by those big furry ones (as long as they're behind glass), think it's because people keep them as pets?!

                          I have kept many reptiles and Amphibians in the past but Bird Eating Spiders were the only invertebrates I had, mainly Red Legged Tarantulas, slightly smaller than the one on Mrs Shiney's hand.:smile:
