... is a bacon one

Icing sugar! Covers a multitude of sins (e.g. burned bits, lumpy bits, under cooked bits, wrong coloured bits) :heehee::heehee::heehee:
      As a first attempt ... I'm going to give you 6/6 ...

      ... now - where's my bit? :slaphead:

The raisans on top are a bit like llechwedd zigs.. :dunno:

Your not wrong there! Bit of red sauce, yes please!

More than welcome to pop in for tea and cake M.. not sure if the drive is worth my baking though :heehee:

I might have to succumb to icing sugar tomorrow if my next cake turns out similar!

Well!! :waggy:You could have mentioned that a few weeks ago when I was in your neck of the woods (ish) for son's graduation!
Still, won't hold it against you ... next time you fly over my way, I'll get my tennis racket out and toss you up some cake to nibble on your way to somewhere hot, sultry and glam

Got all my fingers and toes crossed for you Linz ... which might make this weekend at work a tad difficult ... but ... I'm a hero and will cope some how :heehee::heehee:

Re leaf: middle for diddle ;) and I would be tempted to have three of them, not just a solitary one (three is a magic number ;) )

Best of British - you have certainly worked hard, both on producing your home grown *and* on turning them into produce! Total respect to you :love30:

Oh my goodness me ..was so not prepared for that! Ran round cutting my flowers this morning and left no time to arrange them.. gutted.. my onions became untied and forgot to label my bloody jam :gaah: didn't bother with the leaves.. sweat was pouring off me, was really in a tiz. Serves me right for sinking a few dark fruits last night..

                          Cut flowers anyone?

Apparently my bara brith should be renamed to bara brick :roflol: and my tart was too hard to cut but "nice", jam was "nice" but didn't come anywhere.. cactus failed, fuchsia failed, plate of veg failed, runner beans failed and my poor girls eggs.. one judge did say they should have been cracked open for freshness mind.. oh well I know for next year, planning is key!
